To commemorate the historic arrival of the Flanker at Japan’s Hyakuri Base, which is also the first Russian fighter jet to land in Japan after a 47-year hiatus, a scale model maker will launch scale models of the Su-30MKI with the BrahMos cruise missile as one of its weaponry.
After the Indian Su-30MKI was parked on the tarmac, a large crowd of enthusiasts gathered near the base to see the aircraft in person.

The scale model manufacturer confirmed that a 1:48 scale model of the Indian Su-30MKI will be available, as well as a smaller 1:72 scale model by April.
According to the scale model manufacturer, this is the first model that will include the BrahMos-A, an Air Launched Cruise missile, in the kit, which has resulted in a high number of pre-orders for the set.
