Indian Army issues RFI for Drone Jammer (Veh Based)

    Featured in:

The Indian Army has issued an RFI (request for information) for 20 Drone Jammers (Veh Based) in order to provide a Multi-Sensor-based, comprehensive and all-encompassing solution for UAS/Drones and SWARMS.

The system should be able to detect, track, identify, and neutralise UAS/drones/swarms that are approaching simultaneously from multiple directions.

It should integrate all detection sensors and identify threats in order to provide the operator with composite air situation pictures and facilitate the selection and management of responses for countering UAS/Drones with jamming systems.

All subsystems, including power solutions integral to the system, should be transportable. The look-through mode should be supported for rapid switching between wideband detection and wideband jamming modes to neutralise advanced UAS/Drone types employing multiband switching systems. For swift decision-making, the operator must have access to the merged target data from multiple sensors.
