    Indian Army issues RFI for Tactical Load Haulers

    The Indian Army intends to acquire 300 Tactical Load Haulers for which it has published a Request for Information (request for information). Tactical Load Haulers must be able to operate in desert, mountains, snow, dirt tracks, and uneven terrain.

    Tactical Load Haulers must be able to work in temperatures ranging from minus 20 to plus 45 degrees Celsius and be robust enough to function in deserts, mountains, and snow.

    Tactical Load Haulers should be able to carry a minimum of 80 kilogrammes on plains and 60 kilogrammes in high altitude regions (Above 9,000 feet).

    Tactical Load Haulers should give a minimum performance range of 20 km distance or endurance of eight hours with an 80 kilograms load in plains and a minimum performance range of 15 km distance or endurance of six hours with a 60 kg load in areas of high altitude.
